Marianna put pen to paper to share her memories of the 2007 reunion.
The 2000 and 7 Reunion
For the 2000 and 7 Reunion,
Alpha Gams drove in and flew in.
To Chesapeake Bay,
they came to stay.
What a great group of good looking womin.
The menu was planned completely,
and divided among all discreetly.
From soup to nuts,
without any futz,
the food all appeared so neatly.
At the first banquet board grace was sung.
The words were recalled by some.
Though the feasting began,
The yakking over-ran,
And went on aft the last dish was done.
To pass up dessert was a sin,
so all began to dig in.
Though the sweets were delicious,
the apple pie was suspicious.
Green fuzz was discovered within.
One day we all went skipjacking.
For some there was karaoke and kayaking.
In the dictionary game,
salami gained fame.
And there t’was ever the laughing and yakking.
The end of the week came so fast,
Though we knew it was too good to last.
So we’d not leave with tears,
plans were made for 2 years.
We look forward to the Northwestern Blast!
