Reunion 1991 was held at the Chapter House on the SU campus. Many sisters from the ’60s attended: ’64, Trina; ’65, Anita and Sandy; ’66, Crackey, Pat, Suzie, and Wallis; ’67, Julie, Kay, and Marilyn; ’68, Linda, Mary Ellen, and Ruth. Also on hand were Mrs. Downey, Jo Kirkgasser, three AGD children, and our AlphaGam man, Howard.
Arriving throughout the afternoon and evening on Friday, we nibbled on snacks provided by Jo, then had a pizza party for dinner. When we finally settled in for the night, many of us chose our old rooms.
Bright and early Saturday, most of us headed for campus and M-Street. So many changes made it all seem so different. Back at the house, Mrs. D joined us for dinner and the evening’s activities of talking, singing, and ceremony.
On Sunday we explored the campus before gathering for our farewell brunch at the nearby Sheridan. A certain die-hard crowd managed a diversion at Denny’s before heading for home.
