Ten Syracuse AlphaGams from the 1960s gathered for our biennial reunion, this time in Boston.
On our last evening, we discussed the next reunion. Consensus favors another East Coast location, since most of the attendees live there. Stay tuned!

My favorite event is breakfast. One sister arrives early and grabs a table. Others wander in and out — great camaraderie and stories. Afterwards, we break into small groups to head off on our daily adventures. Later, we get back together for dinner and more stories.
We move like an amoeba. One sister is always out in front, urging everyone to hurry and see more things. Bringing up the rear, two sisters stroll along, so engrossed in conversation that they are barely aware of the group.
We splinter into small groups for lunch. Roommates wake in the middle of the night and chat for hours. We share medical experiences: dental implants, cataracts, and hip replacements. We remember the sisters who aren’t able to join us and those we’ve lost.
We look forward to our 2-27 reunion — it looks like the East Coast again.

Day #1 … The Copley Place Marriott was the perfect place for Reunion ’25. Happy excitement grew as we waited in the lobby for the latest arrivals. All 14 of us (10 sisters and 4 spouses) shared our first dinner at Marriott’s Yard House that evening. Let the chatter and the catching-up begin!
Day #2 … The Trolley Tour was a wonderful way to explore and enjoy the history, beauty, and sights of Boston. Revolutionary War landmarks and stories, Old Ironsides, Faneuil Hall, the Aquarium, the CHEERS bar we all watched on TV, and many other stops were chosen for hop-offs. That evening, we walked to nearby Eataly for a lovely dinner.
Day #3 … We paid a morning visit to ViewBoston at the top of the Prudential Tower for a panoramic bird’s-eye view of Boston and surroundings. We then headed for museums or a Harvard theatre production before gathering for dinner at Legal Seafoods. We remembered the dear sisters we have lost and those who were unable to join us in Boston.
Day #4 … Our last breakfast held tender farewells, affirmations, encouragement, and heartfelt wishes that our blessings continue and we gather again soon. Resilient and optimistic, we treasure these reunions. Time together grows more precious as we recall past adventures as 20-year-olds. Now, in (or approaching) our eighth decade, talk of our families, interests, achievements, challenges, and hopes fill our conversations. Laughter abounds amid teasing, as we remember our shared times through the years with profound gratitude for our lifelong friendships.
THANK YOU, Ellie and Julie, for your dedication and hard work to make Boston 2025 a wonderful reunion. Everything was perfectly planned, and enjoyed by everyone!
