It had only been a year and a half since our gathering in Fredericksburg, Virginia but we all agreed that it’s better not to wait. Embassy Suites/Scottsdale, with it’s spacious suites and comfy common areas, was a perfect place for us! We spent
l-o-n-g mornings over the delicious breakfast buffet — talking, laughing, sipping, reminiscing, sharing, planning — a great way to start each day!

Ideas for our next reunion were discussed on our last night, and several East Coast destinations were suggested. Volunteers are researching the possibilities. We’ll continue our ZOOM meetings in the future to keep the momentum going. Please stay tuned!

From Suzie ...

There were many daily excursions to choose from: Heard Museum of Native American Art, Taliesen West (home and design school of Frank Lloyd Wright), Museum of the West, Museum of Musical Instruments … plus Old Town Scottsdale with its unique history, galleries, boutique shopping, and eateries. Scottsdale really had an entertaining Southwest flavor!

We met again for the 5:00 p.m. evening reception and reconnected over sips and nibbles to review and share our day. Then it was on to a carefully selected nearby restaurant, awaiting us with delicious cuisine enjoyed by everyone.

As always, love and laughter abounded in our group. The joy-filled bonds of sisterhood remain intact. Whether we are in touch often or only now and then, we just pick up where we left off last time. We support each other through happy and hard times. And we always cherish the memories we have made together.

People noticed us often and enjoyed hearing about how we have held on to the connections in our hearts, across the six decades since our college days. We are so blessed to be able to do this and we are grateful!
